Rooted in these innovative techniques and philosophies developed by Eddie Bravo, our training combines a strong foundation in the traditional 10th Planet System with the latest advancements in modern grappling and competition-proven techniques.

KEITH TRUJILLO

Owner/ Head Instructor

Keith began his Jiu Jitsu journey in early 2016 under the guidance of John Botello (3rd Degree Black Belt) and has dedicated himself to the art, lifestyle and community that Jiu Jitsu creates. What started as a passion for learning quickly became a lifelong commitment.

Throughout his years of consistent training, he rose through the ranks going from White Belt to Black Belt in just eight years under John, earning not only technical skill, but also invaluable life lessons and lifelong friendships along the way. Jiu Jitsu became more than just a martial art/sport—it became a foundation that shaped his mindset, character, and purpose.

Now, after over a decade dedicated to the art, Keith decided to take the next step in his journey by opening his own academy— 10th Planet Tempe is the newest addition to the system in the state of Arizona. He is passionate about creating an organic, welcoming, and fun environment where students of all experience levels can train and build confidence both on and off the mats.

He enjoys teaching, coaching, and competing. His goal is simple: to share the same love for Jiu Jitsu that has impacted his own life with every person who walks through the doors.
